Academy Award® winner Rami Malek (BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY) stars as Jimmy George, a charismatic actor in the late 1980s downtown New York scene. Amidst the height of the AIDS crisis, Jimmy George rebels against his own mortality by throwing himself into an ambitious new role, a reckless affair with his downstairs neighbor (newcomer Luther Ford), and the embrace of his artistic community. With his signature sublime touch, HIFF alum Ira Sachs (LOVE IS STRANGE) resurrects the creative spirit and radical resilience that defined a time and place, led by a shattering and intimate performance from Malek.
