Every Christmas for the last 20 years, a Norwegian family receives an anonymous package with the same mysterious note. No sender has been identified despite investigations, media interest, and wild speculation… until now. Armed with a tape recorder, notebooks, and detective gear, 9-year-old Edle and 6-year-old Brage investigate longtime friends, neighbors, and even their own family members in hopes of discovering the sender. Their playful search takes a turn as they uncover deeper family memories. The latest from HIFF alum (and the detectives’ mother) Silje Evensmo Jacobsen (A NEW KIND OF WILDERNESS), THE MYSTERY PACKAGE is a delightful, heartwarming story embracing life’s many surprises.
