A Conversation with Amanda Seyfried

Amanda Seyfried will be in conversation on Sunday, October 4. Amanda Seyfried most recently wrapped production on Lin Manuel Miranda’s highly anticipated musical film, OCTET. She will next be seen opposite Scoot McNairy in THE LIFE AND DEATHS OF WILSON SHEDD, directed by Tim Blake Nelson. Last year, Seyfried starred in THE HOUSEMAID, a psychological thriller from Lionsgate based on Freida McFadden’s New York Times best-selling novel. The film was released in theaters in December 2025. Seyfried was also in Mona Fastvold’s historical drama musical THE TESTAMENT OF ANN LEE, which was acquired by Searchlight Pictures after its world premiere at the 2025 Venice and Toronto International Film Festivals. The film was released in December 2025. For her role in THE TESTAMENT OF ANN LEE, Seyfried received critical acclaim and earned several award nods, including a Golden Globe® nomination for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy and a Critics’ Choice Award nomination. She was also presented with the Desert Palm Achievement Award at the Palm Springs International Film Awards. Seyfried received both Academy Award® and Golden Globe nominations for her portrayal of ‘Marion Davies’ in David Fincher’s critically acclaimed film MANK.
