Winner of the Cannes Un Certain Regard Prize, EVERYTIME is a singular, dreamlike exploration of the desire to seek what has been lost. When a tragedy brings a mother, her daughter, and a teenage boy together, the unlikely trio take a trip to the Canary Islands to live out a family holiday that never took place. As they contend with blame and forgiveness under the glow of the setting sun, past and present quietly start to overlap. With enrapturing, surreal cinematography of the seaside landscape, writer-director Sandra Wollner imbues the grieving process with a mesmerizing sense of mystery. A 1-2 Special release.
