Successful London architect Miguel (Academy Award® winner Javier Bardem) considers a prestigious offer to build a survivalist bunker for a tech billionaire. The project causes his wife Sofia (Academy Award winner Penélope Cruz) to question their relationship of 17 years as they are drawn deeper into a life of extreme wealth, paranoia, and fear. Meanwhile, the intrusive actions of an unsettling neighbor (Stephen Graham, 'Adolescence') pushes their anxiety to a breaking point. From HIFF alum Florian Zeller (THE FATHER, 2020), BUNKER is a taut psychological thriller that examines the emotional and moral challenges faced by a couple navigating an increasingly uncertain world. A Sony Pictures Classics release.
