As one of cinema’s all-time greatest directors, David Lean redefined what movies could be. Behind the visionary lens of classic films like LAWRENCE OF ARABIA and DOCTOR ZHIVAGO was a man whose relentless ambition earned him a reputation as an obsessive maverick. This in-depth portrayal of the seven-time Academy Award® nominee reveals the often messy and painful reality of a historic luminary.
