On February 2, 2023, a legend was born on the streets of New York City. Flaco, a male Eurasian eagle owl, escaped from his cage at the Central Park Zoo after a life in captivity, sparking the fascination of bird enthusiasts, zoologists, and everyday people alike. Acclaimed documentarian Penny Lane (LISTENING TO KENNY G) returns to HIFF with not only the story of one extraordinary feathered creature, but of a city united by his presence. From the Academy Award®-nominated producers of FIRE OF LOVE, WILD INSIDE is a hoot of a tale of perseverance against all odds. A Sandbox Films release.
