Longtime best friends Minnie (brilliant breakout Katherine Mallen Kupferer) and Callie (Chloe Coleman) head into their senior year with Minnie comfortably living in the protective shadow of her charismatic and much-admired counterpart. When their friendship is suddenly upended, Minnie struggles to define her own identity and forms a complicated relationship with Callie’s poised, attentive mother (Academy Award® nominee Sophie Okonedo, HOTEL RWANDA). With a tenderly crafted screenplay supported by the 2020 HamptonsFilm Screenwriters Lab, directors Kelly O’Sullivan and Alex Thompson (SAINT FRANCES, GHOSTLIGHT) premiered MOUSE at the Berlinale to critical acclaim for its honest, grounded, and heart-wrenching portrayal of a young woman’s search for self amidst profound loss.
