Emmy Award® nominee Andrew Scott ('Ripley') delivers a career-best performance in the true story of gifted actor Ian Charleson, star of CHARIOTS AND FIRE, whose search for deeper artistic meaning in 1980s London reaches new stakes as the AIDS crisis unfolds. Facing his own mortality with unflinching honesty, wit, and grace, Charleson delivers a courageous performance as Hamlet at the National Theater, becoming a source of healing and inspiration for those around him. Featuring an ensemble cast of British icons including Olivia Colman and Peter Mullan, ELSINORE is a heart-stirring testament to the powerful moment when an artist’s greatest challenge becomes his greatest triumph.
