ok so this movie grew on me. it got a lot of emotional things right but it also missed the mark in some major technical ways, especially in the beginning which was disappointing. while the screenwriting was lackluster at times, it got the emotional moments spot on and captured the development of a sapphic relationship in a very real and relatable way. overall i really enjoyed it despite its flaws and i think we need more representation like this out there because i truly can’t think of a movie that compares.
