omg so good however percy jackson could do this quest in like 10 days 💅🏼 no shade odysseus. also i felt like tom holland and robert were rage baiting me, love em tho LOL

Fantastic. Even though I’ve seen a dozen renditions of the odyssey and pretty much have the entire plot memorized, it was still so cool to see it play out on the big screen. I’m still thinking about it days later. One of Nolan’s top movies imo

Great. But tbh I wanted more from Penelope and found Odysseus to be too Hollywood. The first interpretation I read showed a Penelope who was vocal against the suitors and an Odysseus who murdered every person in the room, which would have included Eumaeus had Telemachus not begged for his life. The only one he spared of his own will was the old woman who had seen his scar. Idk I found those characters underwhelming because of my own context. That said it was a really great movie and was clearly Nolan’s interpretation so I’m not gonna knock it too hard
